Meditate for joy.

My introduction to meditation occurred in one of those divine moments of synchronicity that are so delicious!  My mentor and favorite (only!) yoga teacher introduced me to meditation at just the right moment in my life and I am hooked.

Periodically, Oprah and Deepak Chopra team up and offer a free, guided 21-day meditation series.  Each series tackles a different subject.  The series are perfect for beginners as well as those experienced with meditation.  Each day you will participate in a different mantra and meditation.  First, read about it in the summary, learn the mantra, put some headphones on and off you go for a blissful and relaxing twenty minutes.  Easy peasy. Oprah will introduce you to the day’s meditation and then, Deepak will follow and provide the mantra and guide you into the meditation.  When I meditate, tension is released, anxiety melts away and I have a feeling of happiness and well being.  Sleep like a baby after! Seriously, it really is a splendid introduction both to deliberate thought and creation as well as relaxing meditation.   I couldn’t be more excited to join in this second series and I hope you will give it a try too!
